This RMG sector alone earns more than 70% of Bangladesh's foreign currency. As an active member of the Bangladesh Garments Manufacturer and Exporters Association, known as the BGMEA, Nexus Sweater Industries (pvt) Limited has been playing a vital role in the country's economy.

Beginning it's journey back in 1999, with only 150 machines established in a rented facility, Nexus Sweaters is now one of the leading members of the BGMEA, with over 1,000 machines in it's own 8 stored building and having 2 different office facilities to enhance our total performance. We have 160,000 sqf. working area and we have employed over 2,500 skilled employees and personnel.

This was not easy. Hardship in obtaining essential components for sweater industry, political restlessness, bureaucratic red tape, employment disputes, International Trade fluctuation ratio and above all, a vary fast changing pace in the sweater industry could not stop our making headways. In 2004, Nexus Sweater has exported a total of 1.8 million pieces of sweaters to the world markets worth US$ 7 million. It has been possible only because of a continuous support from our loyal and valued customers like you. We maintain a high Quality and our system of Inspection can ensures the Standard AQL 2.5 by seriously controlling every steps from Yarn, knitting and Finishing, Checking Accessories, Packing up to cartons to loading into containers. All these activities are inspected by numbers of well-trained merchandisers followed by teams of inspectors.
